Miniature Donkey Foals - the Ultimate "Warm Fuzzies"
Miniature donkeys are among the most adorable creatures, and miniature donkey foals are the cutest, most adorable of all. While there is not a "miniature donkey for sale" sign on every mini donkey foal, we thought you would enjoy seeing them all.

These miniature donkey foals are the result of thoughtful breeding of our quality, registered miniature donkey jacks and jennets. In order to produce miniature donkeys of the highest quality, each mating is carefully planned to strengthen the characteristics of the parents. If you have specific interest in a particular miniature donkey foal on the way or one on this page, please let us know. "The Elms Persistent Whisper"

This is a little doll of a jennet. We didn't realize Whisper was quite so close to foaling, and came in the barn in the morning to find this jennet half dried off, and no mother around. Whisper had abandoned her in the stall and gone out to join her buddy outside. We put them together in a stall, and this foal went straight to her mother to try to nurse. Whisper wanted nothing to do with the foal, but this little jennet would not take no for an answer. She was persistent, and kept trying to nurse, and would follow her mother around the stall like the best behaved foal you ever saw. Whisper, with all her long flowing hair, is addicted to the grooming brush. She would stand like a rock while I brushed her and would let the foal nurse. Several hours later, Whisper finally accepted her foal without being groomed, and now is doing a fine job mothering her. Meanwhile, little Persistent Whisper, "Sista," is always close to her mother! Her mother is heavy boned, wide and stocky, and we can see that her foal has a wide chest, straight legs, perfect teeth, rich dark chocolate color. Too early to tell if she will also have the long hair, but we couldn't be happier with this jennet's build, and personality!

A lovely dark brown jennet, Mojave is siring very straight foals with straight legs, wide chests, well balanced, and with very pretty heads. Sirena has a sweet personality, always ready to come for petting. This is her mother's first foal, ?but Tempy has done everything as if she has had foals before, a great mother. It's such fun watching these two.

She is straight out of fantasy, this special all black jennet. We gave her the name from the Arabian Nights, expecting this little jennet to cast a spell on you. In a sumptuous black coat, with a wide chest with plenty of air, Scherezade is a delight to see, and stunning in motion. Full sister to The Elms Perfect Black, top seller in the 2004 Great American Miniature Donkey Sale.

Here's an elegant little jennet, and she is already a regular flirt, so we named her Kokette. She has a rich dark brown color, deepening every day. Right now with her velvet coat on, she is very pretty. Structure cannot be faulted, a wide chest, and straight legs with good bone. She has a beautiful head. Sometimes it is hard to get pictures of donkeys with dark noses, but this little jennet just shines.

Kalahari is a likely herd sire prospect. This lovely little spotted jack started out red and white spotted, time will tell if he stays that color. He has a gorgeous head, with full mascara around each eye, and the white eye rings in his cheek patches. Super straight legs, and a wide chest.
